Matt Koeppel
Principal/Technical Director
Matt is that unique breed of web designer who creates sites that function as great as they look. It has been rumored that he has both a left and a right brain, resulting in web sites that dazzle the eye, but hum along at breakneck speed without missing a download.
Matt’s advanced coding expertise and technical skills may make you think he will talk circles around you but the truth is he's a great people person and he knows the technical side of the web inside and out. As Technical Director, Matt serves as the lead web developer and server manager. Before joining Ocreative, he worked as the multimedia designer for a multimillion dollar industrial manufacturing company and had his hands on everything from their corporate web site, Google and Yahoo paid advertising campaigns, to designing product catalogs, interactive CD-ROMs and direct mail. He is an award-winning designer who was also awarded Macromedia’s Site-of-the-Day in 2004, a prestigious award given to sites that display strong visuals alongside outstanding functionality. Matt refuses to let new web standards pass him by; he is continually learning new technologies to stay ahead of the curve.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stout, Matt received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in multimedia design and a minor in Business Administration. He ate, slept and taught web design in college as a department webmaster and an assistant instructor. Need we say more?
