Project Description


Develop an e-book based on merchandise representatives’ needs as well as key brand features, benefits, and opportunities for Montgomery Ward. The e-book’s goal is to be available as a sales tool to communicate the benefits of brands working with Ward, increase Ward’s brand awareness, and differentiate Ward from other retailers.

Ocreative worked in collaboration with Vibe Communications and Los Angeles-based RFP MD. Ocreative’s portion of this team project included art direction and graphic design and layout of the e-book. Each spread was designed to feature unique copy under the theme, “Top Ten Reasons Brands Succeed with Ward.” The page spread that presents the reasons is supported by imagery and infographics. Ocreative designed the e-book in invested software specifically for creating e-books. The e-book is responsive, making it friendly for desktops and mobile devices.

Once we completed the e-book design, Ward asked our team to create an additional printed version for the merchandise representatives to distribute to prospective brands. The printed version featured an expanded case study spread and photos for additional impact. When mailed, the publication is inserted into clear bags that allow the graphics and messaging on the front and back covers to continue making a grand impression.
